The current research tends to explore the quality and quantity of social security among male prisoners of Kermanshah Dizelabad jail in order to clarify the social security FEELING factors there.it concentrates on  the relation between religious COMMITMENT and  social security FEELING adaptation by using a simple random sampling encompassing 150 male prisoners. The questionnaires were used to collect data and analyze them on the basis of descriptive statistics including frequency, mean, standard deviation and other statistical analyses such as correlation and multiple regressions. Results showed that the degree of religious COMMITMENT, adaptation and social security FEELING is less among male prisoners. On the one side, there is significant positive relation between religious COMMITMENT and social security FEELING. On the other side, there wasn't any significant relation between adaptation and social security FEELING. Given such results, it is recommended that the male prisoners should be given religious preaching to improve their FEELINGs of security and the level of social security in the society.

The data were gathered by the marital COMMITMENT questionnaire, general health questionnaire (GHQ-28) and Ahmadpour’s guilt FEELING questionnaire (2007). Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation, stepwise regression and independent t- test via SPSS 16.0.Findings: The result of the regression showed that FEELING of guilt and anxiety and sleep disorders can predict marital COMMITMENT in married people. There was no significant difference between men and women in terms of marital COMMITMENT.Results: Marital COMMITMENT and loyalty is higher in people with higher degrees of mental health. Since marital COMMITMENT is independent of gender, it is suggested that there should be general plans for improving mental health for all people with.

issues in family, which in many cases can lead to the development of emotional and behavioral symptoms in the person who has been betrayed. In this regard, the present study was undertaken with the aim to identifying the effectiveness of acceptance and COMMITMENT group counseling on FEELING of loneliness in women suffering from the trauma of infidelity. The research method was experimental and the design was quasiexperimental using pretest-posttest with control group. The statistical population included women victims of infidelity referring to counseling centers and family courts in Tehran, Iran, in 2017. Thirty couples were selected via purposeful and available sampling method based on the study’ s criteria and randomly assigned to experimental (n=15) and control groups (n=15) (finally were investigated through dual assessment of pretest-posttest). All participants were asked to complete UCLA Loneliness Scale (Russell, Peplau & Cutrona, 1980). In addition, the participants in the experimental group attended 8 sessions of 90-minute acceptance and COMMITMENT group counseling and the control group received no training. The results of univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) indicated that acceptance and COMMITMENT group counseling significantly decreased the post-test average scores of FEELING of loneliness in experimental group. Thus, it could be concluded that acceptance and COMMITMENT group counseling is an effective method in reducing FEELING of loneliness in women suffering from the trauma of infidelity and can be used by counselors and therapists in the field of family therapy.

Abstract:

Background and Objective: Midwifery students are more at risk of psychological harm than other students due to their specific professional characteristics. FEELING of inferiority and lack of academic engagement can lead to reduced academic performance and increased psychological problems. This study aimed to investigate the impact of Acceptance and COMMITMENT Therapy on FEELING of inferiority and academic engagement among midwifery students. Materials and Methods: This randomized controlled trial involved 2023-2024. Sixty-four undergraduate midwifery students were selected using a convenience sampling method. After obtaining written informed consent, the students were randomly assigned to two groups: one intervention group and one control group, each consisting of 32 participants. The intervention consisted of eight 60-minute sessions (once a week) of group Acceptance and COMMITMENT Therapy. The control group did not receive any intervention. The research tools included a demographic checklist, Yao et al. Inferiority FEELING Questionnaire and Schaufeli et al.  Academic Engagement Questionnaire. The questionnaires were completed by the participants in three stages: before the intervention, immediately after the intervention, and one month after the intervention. Relevant statistical tests, using SPSS version 16, were employed to analyze the data. Results: The results showed that after the intervention, the mean scores of FEELING of inferiority and academic engagement between the intervention and control groups were significantly different (p < 0.05). In the intervention group, the mean of overall FEELING of inferiority before the intervention was 58.12 (24.06); after the intervention, it decreased to 59.52  (21.13) and at follow-up, it further declined to 51.55 (17.30). In terms of overall academic engagement, the mean scores before the intervention were 53.47 (9.74), which changed to 58.21 (7.22) after the intervention and increased slightly to 58.62 (7.40) at follow-up. For the control group, the mean scores for general FEELING of inferiority were as follows: before the intervention, it was 69.38 (26.73); after the intervention, it was 73.75 (28.06); and at follow-up, it was 73.59 (22.11). Regarding general academic engagement, the scores were 49.38 (4.31) before the intervention, 48.94 (4.50) after the intervention, and 47.84 (3.06) at follow-up. Conclusion: Based on the study's findings, Acceptance and COMMITMENT Therapy is recommended to enhance students' FEELING of inferiority and academic engagement. It seems that teaching this counseling method to students in the form of a workshop will help them deal with academic and clinical problems more efficiently.

Abstract:

Introduction: Divorced women face many health-related problems and require psychological intervention. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the effectiveness of acceptance and COMMITMENT therapy and compassion-focused therapy on negative automatic thoughts and FEELING of loneliness in divorced women. Materials and Methods: This study was quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest design with the control group. The research population included the divorced women admitted to counseling centers in Ahvaz in 2019, among whom 60 subjects were selected by purposive sampling method and randomly assigned to three equal groups. Each experimental group was treated using acceptance and COMMITMENT therapy and compassion-focused therapy for 8 sessions of 90 minutes. Data were collected in pre-test and post-test stages with negative automatic thoughts and FEELINGs of loneliness scales and analyzed by methods of chi-square, multivariate analysis of covariance, and Bonferroni post hoc test. Results: The findings showed no significant difference between the experimental and control groups in terms of education level, age, number of children, and duration of divorce (p<0. 05). Moreover, compared with the control group, acceptance and COMMITMENT therapy and compassion-focused therapy led to reduction in negative automatic thoughts and FEELINGs of loneliness in divorced women (p<0. 001). However, there was no significant difference between the two methods in reducing negative automatic thoughts and FEELINGs of loneliness (p<0. 05). Conclusion: The results indicated the effectiveness of both treatment methods in reducing negative automatic thoughts and FEELINGs of loneliness. Therefore, therapists and health experts can use both methods to improve health-related traits, especially to reduce negative automatic thoughts and FEELINGs of loneliness.
